At the end of the evening the children even got the chocolate "Gelt" (Yiddish for money).
Chanukah 2005 at The Synagogue

In Chanukah this year there was a wonderful Chanukah program at the
Synagogue for the Congregation in which the Menorah candles were lit
by all the members- adults and children as one; Cantor Cornblatt lead the
people in singing the traditional holiday songs, the kids played the dreydle
game and other games (such as musical chairs to Chanukah songs that were
played) and the people have enjoyed eating the traditional Latke. At the end of the evening the children even got the chocolate "Gelt" (Yiddish for money).
